Executive Director
Director’s Update

The year continues to fly by. Perhaps that is because we have been very busy. We are on pace to see more clients again this year than last and setting yet another record. More clients means more opportunities to impact lives and to save babies. Through October, with your help, 121 babies will live and 31 people committed their life to Christ!
Thank you for your continued prayers and partnering with us in this cause.
God’s blessings, Buzz

21st Annual Banquet – March 2, 2019

Corona Life Services is hosting our 21st Annual Banquet on

March 2, 2019.  As this is also Dr. Seuss’ birthday, we thought it was fitting to celebrate life unseen as he did in his book
Horton Hears a Who.
After all, “a person’s a person no matter how small.”

We would love to have you join us!  Click here for more details and sponsorship opportunities.

Not Actual Client
Client Corner
Sex trafficking exists and we are here.

Client D was brought to us through a foster parent.  She had attended a local high school party with friends (as many teens do) and was kidnapped and sex trafficked against her will. Thankfully she was rescued rescued but not until after she had become pregnant.  Once social services became aware she was pregnant, they took her for an abortion with little to no discussion with traumatized D.

When D first came to us, she would not make eye contact or talk.  She has been meeting with one of our client advocates who is taking her through our Sexual Trauma Recovery Program.  She is slowly starting to open up about her experiences but still has a long way to go.  Please pray that D will recognize she is more than her traumas and is of infinite value to God..

Adoption: An Option
Our client blesses another family.
A client came in suspecting she might be pregnant.  Her lifestyle did not support having another child and was abortion minded.  She was surprised to find she was already 5 months along.  After much discussion, she was considering adoption.  We were able to provide referrals to several local adoption agencies; giving our client the opportunity to explore all of her options for an adoption plan.  Contact was then lost with the client as her phone had been disconnected.  We continued to pray.
Recently we received a thank you note from her chosen adoption agency informing us that she did indeed set an adoption plan, delivered a healthy baby, and was able to bless another family with life.  We pray more mothers will recognize adoption is a good option and worth considering.

Walk for Life Thanks
God is good all the time.
As always, God has blessed Corona Life Services with another amazing Walk for Life!  The 700 people walking for life in our community raised more money for life than ever before!  Thank you to all of the churches and organizations that promoted the event as well as all the individuals who set up FundEasy pages, raised funds and made the day such an outstanding event.

Giving back some of God’s gifts.
First we give thanks for all God has given us.  Then we buy gifts on Black Friday and Cyber Monday for those we love.  On Giving Tuesday we bless those we don’t know in need of help.  There are many great non-profits in our community that are working tirelessly to help those in need. Please consider giving an end-of-year gift to an organization showing God’s love to the lost.

Sanctity of Human Life Sunday
January 20, 2019
On January 13, 1984, President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation designating January 22 as the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day. (January 22, 1973, was the day the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion-on-demand in all 50 states.) Churches around the United States use the day to celebrate God’s gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit themselves to protecting human life at every stage.

This year, January 20th is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.  Please inform your pastors of the importance of this date and ask them to give some thought and prayer to how they will commemorate it.  Representatives from Corona Life Services are available to assist in promoting life within your congregation.

Abortion Pill Reversals are working.
It is estimated that nearly a quarter of all abortions today are medical abortions.  It makes sense.  A woman is told if she just takes a couple of pills, all of her problems will disappear.  But that isn’t always the case.
This is an excerpt of an abortion pill reversal story:

The next day I woke up very early in the morning and was thinking what if the baby still had a heartbeat, if I took the next set of pills, how was I going to expel it? I was very confused and started searching in the computer to see if there was a chance the baby still had the heartbeat and I was going to just remove it like that. I then wanted to have an ultrasound because I never had a chance to hear it. I was searching for hours on the internet where I could find a place where I could have one done for free and discreetly. I found a pregnancy center online.”

God Always Provides

Elizabeth Fischer started quilting as a way to cope with the grief of losing her mother.  God used this time of sorrow to grow an amazing heart for ministry.  She recently brought in a giant box of hand made quilts and receiving blankets for our moms who choose life.  Thank are all unique and special, just like our babies.  She also sews for veterans and others in need.

We love to give hand made items to our moms as many of them will never have anything made for them by family or friends.  We had just ran out of blankets right before Elizabeth’s visit.  Praise God for always taking care of the small details that bless our moms, staff and volunteers.
